When Drew Jordan started one of the first high school cycling teams in the Utah Mountain Biking League, he embraced NICA’s principles of equality and inclusivity and drew his roster of students from the entire student body, including students from refugee and underserved communities. Bike Lake City embraces the spirit at the foundation of the Salt Lake City high school teams by providing financial scholarships so students from all demographics can participate equally with their fellow students.

Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch are eligible for these scholarships. In 2018, we are providing four scholarships for students living in the Salt Lake City School District. These scholarships help pay for team and league fees, as well as assist students with the equipment and travel expenses needed to participate with their team.

Help sponsor a deserving student this year by contributing to the Drew Jordan Scholarship Fund.
